Part Time Librarian
Hours required: Monday through Friday 1pm – 5pm

We are seeking a candidate to assist with managing the memo room which includes textiles, wallcoverings and trimmings.  Candidate will facilitate sales through customer service, product knowledge, and organization of the sample library and showroom floor.  Attention to detail and extreme organization is necessary.  A love of textiles and furnishings is an asset.  Wholesale showroom experience is a plus.  Data entry is required, so candidate must have knowledge of basic computer skills.  Friendly demeanor and customer service experience are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Checking in/out of samples for design clients
  • Order and follow up on client’s memo orders
  • Assist in tracking and following up on overdue samples
  • Perform routine showroom maintenance responsibilities as designated such as merchandising, inventory, sample maintenance, assistance in straightening and closing the showroom at the end of the day 
  • Provide the best possible customer service while enhancing Cocoon’s mission to offer the highest quality product and service in the luxury market.
  • Consistently seek to expand your working knowledge of the showroom.
  • Effective communication is vital, as you will be coordinating with supervisors, co-workers, customers, delivery agents and others.  In addition to face-to-face conversations, you will use the telephone, email and other methods of communication.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design and textiles industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Windows and Office Suite.  Experience with QuickBooks is a plus

Part Time Order Entry Specialist
Hours required: Monday through Friday 10am – 2pm

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately and securely processing customer orders. This position requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. A love of textiles and furnishings is an asset.  Wholesale showroom experience is also a plus. The Order Entry Specialist will review customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness, enter orders into the system, and provide follow-up on any discrepancies. The Order Entry Specialist will also provide customer service to answer any questions or address any concerns that customers may have. This position requires excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Team by accurately inputing customer orders into a computer system, including purchase orders from customers and salespeople
  • Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and are followed through to fulfillment
  • Monitor order status throughout the fulfillment process, including tracking product availability and expected delivery dates
  • Check inventory, providing shipping and pricing information, and collect payment
  • Support sales efforts through clear communication and collaboration with the sales team.
  • Provide high-quality customer service through efficient and timely responses, accurate quotes and invoices, extensive product knowledge and excellent follow-up with vendors and the sales team.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive and organized workspace.
  • Consistently seek to expand your working knowledge of the showroom and lines.
