Carroll Leather
Effective Date: May 5, 2025
Please know that our parent company has absorbed a large portion of the tariff surcharge to lessen the impact, but we are passing along a portion of the tariff surcharge and this will go in effect May 5th.
Orders placed prior to May 5th that are in stock will not be subject to tariff surcharges. Orders placed prior to May 5th that require production of the leather will be subject to tariff surcharges. Please know that we will be reviewing the tariff surcharges in three months and if they are holding, we will incorporate the cost into the price of the leather. We will also be watching to see if the tariff surcharges are dropped or adjusted in anyway and we will act accordingly.
Century Furniture
Effective Date: October 19, 2025
As you are certainly aware, recent changes in international trade policy have led to the implementation of new (additional) tariffs on an expanded number of countries, materials, parts and goods we import throughout our global network. Beyond these tariffs, many of our global suppliers are increasing their prices to cover their material costs and disruptions to production.
After exploring every option to absorb or mitigate these increases, we’ve reached a difficult decision: Effective 10/19/25, a supply chain surcharge will be applied to the affected products and materials. This measure is necessary to maintain the quality and consistency you expect from us, while continuing to support our suppliers and production teams around the globe.
Please note that we are only addressing our affected styles (sku-by-sku) with this surcharge and have specifically tailored our application to the actual component value within the finished SKU. We believe this is a “fair” approach and one that will be transparent to you, our partner.
We understand that any price increase—no matter how small—is frustrating, and we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. Our team remains fully committed to transparency and service, and we will continue monitoring the situation closely in hopes of adjusting or removing the surcharge should market conditions improve.
Our current environment is evolving rapidly and if factors change in material ways, we will be compelled to adjust our strategy. In the end, I hope you know that we at Century will always work to take the most fair and reasonable approach to how we communicate and work with you.
Your partnership means a great deal to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time.
Fabricut
Effective Date: October 27, 2025
We communicated to you back in June about our efforts to deal with the tariffs being imposed on imported goods. Since that time, the tariff negotiations between the United States and its trading partners continue. In some cases, tariffs on imports have been raised significantly, and many of these increases involve our major trading partners across the globe. Seeing no clear resolutions in the near term, we are implementing another price increase based on country of origin. We will pass along only a portion of these new tariffs.
As of October 27th, 2025, Fabricut will be instituting price increases based on tariff impositions based on country of origin:
India: 22%
All other countries: 5%
These increases will affect fabric, trimmings, wallpaper, rugs, and leather sales in the following brands:
FABRICUT
TREND
STROHEIM
S. HARRIS
VERVAIN
You will receive notice of the price increases for the Distributed Brands of Fabricut:
JEAN MONRO
LIBERTY OF LONDON
ETRO
DECORTEX FIRENZE
THE VALE
You will receive notice of the price increases for the following product categories:
FINISHED WINDOW PRODUCTS
DECORATIVE DRAPERY HARDWARE
FURNITURE
ALL QUOTES ON ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WILL BE HONORED THROUGH FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24th, 2025.
We appreciate your understanding for what is an industry wide circumstance, and we will continue to monitor events as they transpire.
Gabby & Summer Classics
Effective Date: April 18, 2025 & August 11, 2025
To be updated again in September
April 18, 2025
A 5% surcharge will be applied to imported products across Gabby and Summer Classics. While we hope this surcharge will be temporary, it helps offset the immediate impact of new tariffs and reflects our shared commitment to navigating this environment together.
Select price adjustments will be made across both brands in response to rising material and production costs.
At Gabby, we’re proud to offer a 5% price reduction on our American-made upholstery, made possible by recent manufacturing efficiencies.
August 11, 2025
In anticipation of upcoming tariff adjustments, we will implement the following pricing updates for Summer Classics products, effective August 11, 2025:
WHAT’S CHANGING:
Removal of 5% Surcharge
The 5% surcharge currently applied to all Summer Classics products will be eliminated.
Updated Product Pricing
Modest price adjustments will be applied to most Summer Classics categories to reflect increased import costs. In some cases, we are pleased to reduce pricing, thanks to concessions from long-standing manufacturing partners or transfers of work.
Cushion Pricing
A 5% price increase will apply to all Summer Classics cushions. This is the first permanent adjustment in several years and reflects sustained material and manufacturing cost pressures. With the 5% surcharge being removed, the net impact to customers will be negligible.
North Carolina Upholstery
Pricing for upholstery produced at our North Carolina facility remains unchanged, following the 5% reduction implemented in April.
Gabby Product Pricing
Changes for Gabby products are anticipated in September, pending ongoing evaluation of tariffs and related production shifts. The 5% surcharge will remain in place until further notice.
Garrett Leather & CTL Leather
Effective Date: May 15, 2025
Due to recent increases in global trade tariffs, we will be implementing a 5% surcharge on all Garrett Leather purchases, effective May 15, 2025.
CTL Leather sales shipping into the USA will be subject to a 5% surcharge, also effective May 15,2025.
We have worked diligently to minimize the impact of these additional costs and have taken steps to absorb as much of the increase as possible. However, to continue delivering the high-
quality products and service you expect, we must pass on a portion of these costs. Rather than increase prices, we will be billing this as a tariff surcharge so that the rate may be changed or removed should the tariff situation change, and so that your clients have visibility into the nature of the surcharge.
Hickory Chair
Effective Date: April 21, 2025
The grades of fabrics have been changed to reflect our new cost structure from our vendors.
**Please note that Cocoon’s showroom samples and memos may not reflect the new grade. Only orders placed before April 21st will be honored at the original grade.**
Highland House
Effective Date: April 8, 2025
While we continue to proudly manufacture in North Carolina, we do rely on imports for parts, lumber, and made-to-stock items. Due to the fluid situation surrounding tariffs on imports, an additional surcharge may be imposed at any time after April 8, 2025 for new orders.
Hudson Valley
Effective Date: October 15, 2025
We know pricing changes affect your planning, so here’s a clear view of what’s changing.
Effective October 15th, fewer than 3% of SKUs across Hudson Valley Lighting, Troy Lighting, Corbett, and Mitzi will see updated pricing. Most products from these brands will remain at current pricing, and CSL and SONNEMAN are not affected.
We’re grateful for your partnership and remain committed to providing the exceptional design, craftsmanship, and service you count on from HVLG.
Hunter Douglas
Effective Date: April 22, 2025 and May 13, 2025
April 22nd: Due to ongoing volatility in market conditions, we will increase the temporary surcharge on consumer and dealer invoices from 1% to 2% of the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) in the U.S.
May 13th: Price Increase – average increase of about 3% across all products.
JAB Hardware
Effective Date: April 24, 2025
Due to recently imposed US tariffs on imported goods, the cost of sourcing our premium Decorative Hardware components from international suppliers has increased. While these external factors are beyond our control, our primary focus remains on minimizing the impact on you-our valued customer. To that end, JAB will implement a 6% surcharge for all JAB Decorative Hardware products effective April 24, 2025. We’ve taken care to ensure this change is as limited and manageable as possible while maintaining the high quality fabrics and service you expect from us. What you need to know: All current orders, reserves and backorders already in our system BEFORE MAY 1ST will remain at existing pricing–no changes will be made retroactively.
James Hare
Effective Date: September 15, 2025
We are delighted to let you know that, effective today (15 September 2025), we are removing the 10% US tariff surcharge from our pricing.
What this means for you:
Existing open proformas can be reissued on request to reflect the change (where applicable).
All new US orders placed from today will no longer include the 10% surcharge.
Kingsley Bate
Effective Date: April 2, 2025, April 24, 2025 and August 1, 2025
April 2nd
As you may have seen, on April 2, 2025, a 32% tariff was announced on goods imported from Indonesia. While we are hopeful for a favorable resolution, we must take measured steps to adapt in the meantime.
Effective for orders placed on or after April 2, 2025, we will be applying a 10% surcharge on Made-To-Order (MTO) frames—that is, frames that are not stocked or that are ordered in a non-stocked color.
This surcharge does not apply to MTO cushions or stocked frames.
Additionally, due to current constraints, we are temporarily unable to accept MTO orders for our Tivoli and Tiburon collections.
Should the tariffs be lifted, we will remove the MTO frame surcharge—our commitment is to return to standard pricing as soon as conditions allow.
April 24th
Starting April 24, all upholstery orders using C.O.M. will be priced at Grade A + 30%. This adjustment applies to new orders, quote revisions, and any new quotes issued on or after this date. Please note that additional customization charges (e.g., changes to fill, construction, etc.) will continue to apply as usual.
August 1st
Beginning August 1, 2025, the U.S. will implement a 19% tariff on goods imported from Indonesia. In response to this development, and in order to partially offset its effects, we will apply a 6% surcharge to all orders received on or after August 1, 2025. This surcharge will apply to all products except cushions.
We recognize the challenges this presents and remain committed to minimizing disruption wherever possible. If the tariff is revised or lifted, we will adjust the surcharge to reflect those changes.
Kravet/Lee Jofa
Effective Date: May 1, 2025
In reaction to the administration’s announcement yesterday placing a 90-day pause on many reciprocal tariffs, we are pleased to let you know that we will suspend the tariff surcharge plan issued on April 8th.
While there is continuing uncertainty around the additional tariffs imposed on Chinese imports, depending on the outcome, we will likely need to add a tariff surcharge on those products, effective May 1st. Please note that Chinese products consist of a minimal percentage of our product offering. We will continue to monitor the tariff situation to determine the fairest possible solution, and will keep you apprised.
We understand this is still a time of volatility and uncertainty. We will continue doing our best to alleviate some of this through transparency.
PAUSED: April 8th Tariffs
• 5% – United Kingdom, Turkey & Nepal
• 7% – European Union (including Italy, France, Belgium, etc.) & India
• 9% – All others (which account for less than 5% of our product)
Libeco
Effective Date: August 1, 2025
We would like to inform you about an important update regarding our deliveries to the United States. Following the recent agreement between the EU and the US, a new tariff structure has been implemented. As a result, we are compelled to adjust our surcharge to 15% on all shipments
delivered to the US.
This change will take effect on Friday, August 1, and is necessary to offset the impact of the new import duties on our products.
We hope this new agreement brings greater market stability and a more lasting solution for transatlantic trade.
Thank you for your continued support throughout this period. Your loyalty means a great deal, and we remain committed to delivering the quality and service you expect from us.
Made Goods
Effective Date: October 1st
Now that August is here, we want to share another tariff policy update following our last note in May. At that time, we chose not to adjust pricing due to the fluid nature of the situation and the potential impact that uncertainty could have on you and your clients. That choice gave us time to plan our next steps thoughtfully, always keeping your needs at the center.
While there’s more clarity now than there was in early June, the situation is still evolving. After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to implement any tariff related pricing changes before October 1. We’ll continue to monitor developments closely and will share another update before that date.
We know how important it is to stay informed, and we’re committed to keeping you updated and supporting you in every way we can.
Modern History

Wood products will have an 8% price increase
Metal goods specifically will incur a 25% price increase
It is important to note that we have chosen to only increase by 8% and 25% respectively when in fact the tariffs are 10% and 50% and hope you appreciate the efforts on behalf to Modern History to minimize these increases.
Oly Studio
Effective Date: May 1st
7% Surcharge to all new orders
Existing orders will have a 2.5% tariff fee added a the time of shipment.
Osborne & Little
Effective Date: September 18, 2025
Following our tariff update on August 29th, we’re pleased to share some positive news regarding a reduction in the surcharge on goods originating from China and India.
While the current tariff rates on goods originating from China and India remain unchanged at 55% and 50% respectively, we are working diligently with our artisans and mills to mitigate the effects of these rates. We are also working internally for savings in all areas, that would allow us to absorb as much of the new tariff as possible.
As a result, effective September 18th, we are reducing the tariff surcharge on goods from China and India from 25% to 15%
Our tiered structure will be as follows:
7.5% on goods originating from the UK, EU and countries other than China and India (this represents the majority of our products).
15% on goods originating from China and India
Please note: all open orders and reserves from China and India currently in-house will be automatically adjusted to reflect the new 15% rate.
As previously mentioned, we remain committed to maintaining our base trade prices through the end of 2025. We deeply appreciate your understanding and partnership.
Regina Andrew
Effective Date: April 21, 2025
Price increase of approximately 5%
Romo
Effective Date: August 7, 2025
Following our July 4 update on upcoming tariff changes, we’re pleased to share a more favourable outcome.
The final U.S. tariff determination for EU-originating products is less severe than initially expected. As a result, we are pleased to maintain our existing 5% tariff surcharge on the vast majority of our products, and will not be implementing the previously anticipated 10% surcharge for goods sourced from the EU.
A small number of products sourced from other markets such as India and the Far East, currently subject to U.S. tariffs of up to 55%, will incur a higher tariff surcharge, limited to 10%.
The following tiered tariff surcharge structure will go into effect on August 7: 5% Tariff Surcharge: Applies to products from countries with U.S. tariffs up to 20%, including the EU, UK and Turkey, and covers the vast majority of our product range.
10% Tariff Surcharge: Applies to a small number of products from regions with tariffs exceeding 20%, including India and the Far East.
We will continue to monitor the evolving global trade conditions and adjust these surcharges, if necessary, in accordance with any changes to tariffs.
Applicable surcharges will be displayed and updated on our Trade website. Please refer to our Trade website for the most up to date tariff surcharges for individual products.
We are grateful that this resolution allows us to limit the cost impact for you, our valued clients, while continuing to absorb the broader effects of a weakened U.S. dollar and rising import costs. As previously communicated, we intend to keep our base trade prices unchanged through the end of the year.
Please note: All open orders and reserves placed prior to August 7 will still be honored under the current, single 5% tariff surcharge, with a two-week grace period extended through August 20 for items transitioning to the 10% rate.

Effective Date: April 28, 2025
10% temporary Tariff surcharge on all imported wallcoverings
Sanderson Trade Group
Effective Date: August 29, 2025
We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to import regulations affecting goods entering the United States. From August 29th, 2025, the US government will suspend the de minimis exemption, meaning all shipments, regardless of value, will now be subject to import duties.
To align with this new regulation, a 3% surcharge will be applied to all Sanderson Design Group orders shipped to the USA from this date. This replaces our previous policy, where the surcharge was only applicable to orders over certain thresholds.
While these tariffs require an adjustment, they underscore the exceptional value of our products at Sanderson Design Group – competitively positioned within the market, with the overall increase remaining below the industry average despite the surcharge.
This development only strengthens our commitment to the meticulous craftsmanship, artistry, and innovation that define Sanderson Design Group – bringing beautiful designs to life at our UK factories, Anstey Wallpaper Company and Standfast & Barracks, now and for the future.
We are committed to working closely with you as trusted partners, providing flexible and clear solutions that can evolve as global circumstances shift. We will remain responsive and keep you informed of any updates at the earliest possible moment.
Stout Textiles
Effective Date: October 1, 2025
Since early August, we’ve worked diligently to absorb the rising costs driven by recent tariff increases. Despite our best efforts, it has become necessary to adjust pricing in order to continue providing the quality products and service you rely on.
Effective October 1st, there will be a price increase on select imported products.
We remain committed to delivering exceptional value, service, and support, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding as we navigate these industry challenges. Please know that we are closely monitoring the situation and are hopeful that tariffs may ease in the coming weeks.
Texture Fabrics, Inc.
Effective Date: September 15, 2025
The current administration has recently raised tariffs on Indian imports from 10% to 25% on August 7, and then to 50% on August 27. We have been absorbing these additional tariffs for over a month now. However, we cannot continue to do so. Starting September 15th, the Tariff Surcharge on all products originating from India will increase from the current 5% to 10%
Please note the following tariff surcharges:
- 5% on all imports other than from India and China
- 10% on all imports from India and China
We are hopeful that the tariff negotiations between the United States and the rest of the world will be resolved over the next few months and we can adjust our prices as needed and continue our normal course of business as in the past years.
We appreciate your understanding while we navigate these unprecedented times.
Theodore Alexander
Effective Date: May 1, 2025

Thibaut
Effective Date: May 1, 2025

York
Effective Date: June 16, 2025
As we continue to navigate the current challenges in our global supply chain, we strive to mitigate the impact of the current tariffs. However, as a result of the new tariffs announced in April, we are compelled to make another price adjustment effective today, June 16th, 2025.
As the largest manufacturer of wallcoverings in North America, we are pleased to be able to maintain our current prices for the majority of products made in our York, PA factory. However, our Specialty and Natural products imported from Europe and Asia are impacted by the new tariffs. Furthermore, due to China’s current high tariff rate, the new pricing will be effective immediately for an Chinese-made products that are not currently in inventory.
We appreciate your business and continued support.
